7-Year-Old Assaults Grandma Over Chicken Wings

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLA—Last month, the seven-year-old boy, barely tall enough to see over the steering wheel, took the keys to his grandmother’s car and in his eight minute trip in rush hour traffic, ran over two mailboxes, hit two parked cars and two moving cars.
Now the kid, Latarian Stratford, has assaulted and injured his grandmother, Vikkita Stratford, inside a Florida Wal-Mart after she refused his demand for chicken wings. He walked over the the counter and ordered them anyways. When she confronted him, about defying her, she says he started hitting her “in front of the whole Wal-Mart”. He said that he took his grandmother’s car because it was fun and it’s fun to do bad things.
Now he’s undergoing a mental evaluation but his grandmother says she’s worried about will happen once he’s released. 5-16-08
