Bolton Residents Busted For Pot Growing Operation

BOLTON LANDING—Two Bolton residents have been arrested after the Warren County Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit found an indoor marijuana growing operation at their residence.

 

Robert S. Mitchell, 36, and Karen M. McCartney, 33, have been charged with second degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis, a misdemeanor, after sheriff’s officers executed a search warrant on Aug. 29 at their residence at 742 New Vermont Road in the town of Bolton.

 

Police recovered and confiscated 42 marijuana plants in various stages of growth and development inside the residence.

 

Both individuals were arraigned in Bolton Town Court on Aug. 30 and were released pending further court action after posting $1,000.00 cash bail each.   9-6-08
