QUEENSBURY—A Corinth woman has been charged with second degree forgery, a felony, after she allegedly signed a false name to traffic ticket issued to a male acquaintance and mailed it to the court.

Jennifer L. Purchase, 22, also faces a count of felony offering a false instrument for filing.
State Police said that in May, William J. Blair, 24, of Queensbury, was in a vehicle with Purchase when he was stopped for a traffic infraction. Police said Blair identified himself as someone with the last name of Johndrow.
According to police, Purchase took the traffic ticker, signed the “Johndrow” name and mailed it to the court for Blair.
Blair has been arrested for second degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor; and offering a false instrument for filing, a felony.
They have been issued appearance tickets for Queensbury Town Court. 7-10-09
