Student Teacher Accused Of Sex With Minor

OWEGO—A student teacher at the Union Endicott School District is under arrest, accused of having a sexual relationship with a former student.

Amy MillerAmy N. Miller, 23, of Rano Blvd., Vestal, has been charged with third degree criminal sexual act, a felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Miller was arraigned in Tioga Town Court by Town Justice Paul Martin. She was remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

Miller has been suspended by Binghamton University and has been removed from all coursework and related teaching assignments. Binghamton University is cooperating fully with the investigation as is the Union Endicott School District and Owego Free Academy.
