Police: Bayport Teen Drunk, Passed Stopped School Bus

MORRISVILLE—An 18-year-old Bayport teen has been charged with driving while intoxicated after she was stopped for passing a stopped school bus.
State Police at Morrisville arrested Alison N. Mandriota, of Bayport Friday following a traffic stop on State Route 20 in the village of Morrisville. Mandriota was initially stopped by the Morrisville–Eaton School Resource Officer Tpr. Brian Derochie after she allegedly passed a MECS school bus that was stopped and had its red lights activated.
She was processed at SP Morrisville, where a breath sample of .11 BAC% was obtained. She was charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, and passing a stopped school bus.
Mandriota was released on tickets to appear in the Morrisville Village Court on Oct. 21. 10-13-09
