Pinellas Detention Deputy Arrested

PINELLAS COUNTY, FLA—A Pinellas County Sheriff’s detention deputy has been arrested on an outstanding warrant involving a failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct misdemeanor incident.
Wayne Nichols, 48, was arrested Wednesday while at work at the Pinellas County Jail.
Nichols has been a detention deputy since 1999. This incident will be reviewed by the Administrative Investigations Division. 10-29-09
