JOHNSTOWN—A 40-year-old Johnstown woman is lodged in the Fulton County Jail after being arrested for prostitution.
The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Fonda arrested Stacy Fayville Tuesday following a lengthy investigation.
Police said an anonymous source told them that Fayville was operating her prostitution service online. With the assistance of the State Police Computer Crime Unit as well as the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, a meeting was set between Fayville and a potential client who was actually an undercover Trooper.
Fayville was arrested at her residence in the City of Johnstown without incident. A search warrant executed at that address revealed items that would corroborate the charges against her. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges against Fayville are expected, police said.
She was arraigned and remanded to the Fulton County Jail on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. Assisting in the investigation was the City of Johnstown Police Department and the Fulton County District Attorneys Office. 10-29-09
