Police Make Arrests For Burglaries, Larceny, DWIs

Two young adults are facing felony counts of third degree burglary in relation to break-ins in the Moreau area.

Joshua Warrington, 19, of Sewell St., Lake George, was arrested on Oct. 24 and charged with two counts of third degree burglary while Brittany M. Canale, 19, of Pickle Hill Rd. in Queensbury was charged on Oct. 23.  Both were charged in connection with an Oct. 23 break-in in Moreau while Warrington was also charged with an Oct. 7 break-in.

In other recent arrests reported by the State Police in Troop G, Dawn M. Viele, 52, of Charlotte, NC has been charged with third degree grand larceny for allegedly applying for a $12,000 student loan in 2004 using her daughter’s name and forging her ex-husband’s name as a co-signer.

Viele had formerly operated dog grooming business in the Glens Falls area known as “Groomer on the Go”.

Police said that Viele’s daughter learned about the loan when she recently obtained a credit report and discovered that she owed over $46,000.  Viele had been in Warren County for a court appearance concerning her divorce.

Other recent arrests reported by the State Police in Troop G are as follows:

John Olden, 33, of Glens Falls, arrested on Oct. 24 on Route 9, Queensbury and charged with felony driving while intoxicated.

Harley Pryme, 23, of Warrensburg, arrested on Oct. 24 on Electric Ave. in Warrensburg and charged with petit larceny

Richard Bowman, 34, of Lake George, arrested on Oct. 31 at 2:51 a.m. on Rte. 9, Lake George, and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%

Ivy Wait, 31, of Gansevoort, arrested on Oct. 28 at 1 a.m. on Ballard Rd., Wilton, charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%

Gordon Roberts, 42, of Salem, arrested on Oct. 17, at 7:45 a.m. at 100 Park St., Glens Falls, and charged with driving while intoxicated

Stephen Brown, 39, of Queensbury, arrested on Oct. 25 at 10:10 p.m. on Luzerne Rd., Queensbury, charged with speeding and driving while ability impaired/alcohol.

Michael J. Smith, 22, of Queensbury, arrested on Oct. 27 at 3:14 p.m. on Quaker Rd./Dix Ave., Queensbury, charged with petit larceny

James Dimon, 46, of Mexico, NY, arrested on Oct. 27 at 10:30 p.m. on Ridge Rd., Queensbury, charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%

Jody Conway, 53, of Queensbury, arrested on Oct. 28 for an incident occurring on Sept. 30, charged with third degree forgery.  11-02-09
