Funeral Services Set For Tpr. David Lane

JEFFERSON COUNTY—Funeral arrangements have been set for fallen Trooper David J. Lane, 30, who died Wednesday in a on-duty automobile crash in the Town of Catskill.
The funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 214 West Main St. in Brownville. Calling hours will be Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 237 William St., Dexter.
Lane, of Dexter, was a four year member of the State Police who worked out of the State Police Catskill station.
A 1997 graduate of General Brown High School in Dexter, he also served in the U.S. Army, “C” company, 307th Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne, where he saw active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He is survived by his parents Stephen and Cheryl lane of Dexter, his brother Stephen Lane Jr. of Webster and fiancée Kelly Miller of Catskill. 11-6-09
