Warrensburg Teen Faces DWI After Accident

CHESTERTOWN—A Warrensburg teenager has been charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident early Sunday morning.
Patrol Officer Michael Anuszewski of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling in the Town of Chester about 1:36 a.m. Sunday when he located an accident scene on Landon Hill Road approximately a half mile north of the Ben Culver Road intersection. The vehicle had struck a large log after going off the roadway and over an embankment.
The operator was identified as Ashleigh A. Taylor, 18, of Warrensburg. Police said a field investigation determined that Taylor was intoxicated. She was processed at the Chestertown Station and submitted to a breath test which showed her blood alcohol content to be .11%.
Taylor was ticketed for driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a a BAC greater than .08%, both misdemeanors, and failure to keep right. She is to appear in Chester Town Court at later date. 11-09-09
