Pottersville Woman Faces Alcohol Charges

A Pottersville woman has been arrested for 10 counts of unlawful possession of alcohol by individuals under the age of 21 following a traffic stop Halloween on Quaker Road in Queensbury.

Leeann Rohm, 20, was also cited for drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle.  She was issued an appearance ticket for Queensbury town court.

In other recent arrests by the State Police in Troop G, three young adults have been charged with stealing a debit card from the purse of an acquaintance and using it to withdraw $460.

Jordin B. Mattes, 20, of Queensbury; Joshua J. Hooper, 19, of Moreau; and Victoria L. King, 18, of Queensbury have each been charged with fourth degree grand larceny, a felony.  King was also charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing Ecstasy.

Police said the purse has been recovered.  The trio was released to appear in Queensbury Town Court.

Also arrested by the State Police were:

Anthony Helm, 21, of Whitehall, arrested on Oct. 31 on County Rte. 9, Whitehall, for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Dale W. Faxon, 24, of Granville, arrested on Nov. 2 at 10428 SR 40 in Granville and charged with petit larceny for an incident which occurred on Oct. 26.

Patrick J. Casey, 28, of Queensbury, arrested on Nov. 4 at 368 Dixon Rd., Queensbury and charged with torturing/injuring an animal by not feeding it, a misdemeanor.  He was issued an appearance ticket for Queensbury Town Court.

Camille Deslandes, 52, of Island Pond, Vt., arrested on Nov. 8 at 6:2- p.m. on State Rte. 9, Queensbury, by the Log Jam and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%.

Devin Mahar, 28, of Whitehall, arrested on Nov. 5 and charged with grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000, a felony; for an incident which occurred on Sept. 24 in the Village of Granville

Stephen Budesa, 52, of Albany, arrested on Nov. 5 on State Rte. 40, in Town of Easton, and charged with petit larceny

Edward Ackling, 22, of Lake George, arrested on Nov. 7 at 11:10 a.m. on I-87, southbound in the Town of Lake George, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Terry Varnum, 40, of Hudson Falls, arrested on Nov. 8 in Queensbury and charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor.

Jodi Landry, 43,  of Colchester, Vt., arrested on Nov. 9 at 4:21 p.m. on I-87, southbound between Exits 19 and 18, charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, held in Warren County Jail.

Thomas Madison, 20, of Corinth, arrested on Nov. 10 at 5:50 p.m. on Glens Falls Mountain Rd., Lake Luzerne, charged with driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident

Edith Santalis, 40, of Glens Falls, arrested on Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. in Queensbury and charged with third degree grand larceny and first degree offering a false instrument for filing, both felonies; and falsifying business records, a misdemeanor.   11-11-09
