Ballston Spa Senior Jailed For School Fireworks

BALLSTON SPA—A senior at the Ballston Spa High School is lodged in the Saratoga County Jail after he allegedly set off a pack of firecrackers and threw them into a crowd of other students in the school cafeteria Thursday morning.
No one was injured in the 7:25 a.m. incident.
Daniel Berger, 17, of Ballston Spa has been charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon and second degree reckless endangerment.
He was arraigned in the Town of Clifton Park Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Berger is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Ballston Court to answer the charge. 11-19-09
