HAGUE—Slippery roads caused a rollover accident Monday morning on Route 8 near Lilly Pond Road in the town of Hague.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said the one car accident occurred when a 1999 Plymouth Sedan operated by Renee E. Swinton, 35, of Hague, crossed over black ice causing her westbound vehicle to do a 360 degree turn in the road and then strike a rock embankment. Swinton’s vehicle overturned and the Hague Fire Department had to use extrication tools to remove her from the vehicle.
Swinton suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Moses-Ludington Hospital by the Hague Emergency Squad.
The accident was investigated by Patrol Officer Gregory T. Seeley. 11-23-09
