Teens Face Drug, Sex and Mischief Charges

WARREN COUNTY—A Stony Creek teenager is under arrest for allegedly using a baseball bat to damage the car of an acquaintance, a Queensbury teenager is facing three charges relating to allegations of sexual misconduct and another Queensbury teenager has been charged with felony criminal sale of marijuana in recent arrests made by the State Police.
Jose Ordonez, 18, of Stony Creek, was arrested about 4:40 a.m. on Nov. 21 on Warren St., in Warrensburg for allegedly using a baseball bat to extensively damage a 2003 Pontiac.
He was charged with third degree criminal mischief, a felony; in addition to misdemeanor charges of aggravated harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Ordonez was remanded to the Warren County Jail.
Thorin Rahman-Steves, 16, of Queensbury, was arrested Nov. 20 for second degree criminal sale of marijuana, a felony. Following arraignment, he was released after bail was posted. A 14-year-old Queensbury teen was also charged in the case for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Alex Hart, 19, of Queensbury, is facing misdemeanor counts of sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and making a false written statement after State Police said he had improper sexual contact with another individual.
He was issued appearance tickets for the Queensbury Town Court.
In other recent arrests by the State Police:
James Dickerson, 45, of Ticonderoga, was arrested Nov. 25 on Rte. 9N in Ticonderoga and charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%, both misdemeanors. He was also issued a traffic ticket for no seat belt.
Kristine Memole, 58, of Cohoes, was arrested on Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. at Exit 30 of the Northway in North Hudson and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%. She was issued appearance tickets for North Hudson Town Court.
Kenyn T. Shattuck, 17, of New York City, was arrested on Nov. 20 at 3:32 on Traver Rd., Wilton and charged with fourth degree grand larceny involving theft of a credit card, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and second degree forgery, all felonies. He is being held in the Saratoga County Jail.
Also arrested in connection with the same incident is Michael Lester, 18, of Greenfield who was charged with fourth degree grand larceny. He is also being held without bail in the Saratoga County Jail.
Ashley Vanetten, 18, of Ballston Spa, was released on bail after being arrested on Nov. 20 on State Route 50 in Wilton. She was charged with first degree possession of a forged instrument and first degree falsifying of business records, both felonies.
Kevin Littlejohn, 36, of Troy, was arrested on Nov. 16 on Rte. 9 in Queensbury and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket for Queensbury Town Court.
Aubrey Labati, 43, of Princetown, NY, was arrested on Nov. 20 on the Northway in the Town of Chester near the Chestertown exit and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%, both misdemeanors. She was ticketed to appear at a later date in Chester Town Court.
Jack J. Clark, 22, of Bakers Mills, was arrested on Bakers Mills Rd., Johnsburg, for second degree harassment, a violation. He was released to appear in Johnsburg Town Court.
A 40-year-old Moreau woman was arrested on Nov. 26 at White Birch Estates in Moreau. Michelle Harris faces charges of second degree assault, a felony; and fourth degree criminal possession of weapon. She was released with appearance tickets for Moreau Town Court.
Joseph Latour, 20, of Queensbury, was arrested on Nov. 20 on Dixon Rd., Queensbury, and Nicole Costin, 21, of Queensbury was arrested Nov. 26 on Burke Dr., Queensbury. Both were charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Both were issued appearance tickets for Queensbury Town Court. 11-27-09
