BRUNSWICK—In a true case of “Home Alone” in this Christmas season, an 11-year-old girl helped police snare two alleged burglars Monday at her Brunswick residence.
State Police said the girl observed two unknown males enter her residence at Chester Court and dialed 911, prompting a police response. Two male subjects were located in the area and upon further investigation, they were taken into custody.
Patrick J. Rayn, 22, of 83 Vliet St., Cohoes and Joshua D. Lasher, 23, of 57 Plank Rd., Troy, were each charged with second degree burglary and arraigned at the Brunswick Town Court.
Both subjects have been remanded to the Rensselaer County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $50,000 bond. 11-30-09
