 DALLAS---Parents and children alike have long been amused and entertained by the Sesame Street character Elmo.
But he's not amusing some parents whose children got an audio book for Christmas that features Elmo.
A mother in Dallas says that the interactive Elmo book "Potty Time With Elmo" she bought for her 16-month old daughter doesn't have much to do with toilet training but instead when the book's buttons are pushed, the child is asked "Who wants to die?" with giggling in the background.
She said it was a "sick joke" and "inappropriate". Similar books contain the correct message which says, "Who wants to go potty?"
Apparently the inappropriate message isn't confined to just one copy as the book manufacturer reportedly says it's had several similar complaints.
