GUIDERLAND---The epidemic continues.
An elementary school music teacher at Gardner Dickinson Elementary School in Wynantskill, the father of five children, has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography on his computer.
Marc S. Sardella, 47, of 12 Norman Ave., allegedly had numerous photos of young children engaged in sex acts stored on his computer. He works with students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
He's been charged with felony possession of a sexual performance by a child. Arraigned in Guilderland Town Court Saturday, he's lodged at Albany County Jail without bail.
Police said they hadn't determined yet if the images found on the computer had been downloaded from the Internet or if Sardella had taken the photographs himself. 1-29-06
