LAURENS, SC---Yet another person charged with the public trust has been arrested for allegedly violating that trust.
A South Carolina elementary teacher is being held on $100,000 bond on charges that she had sex with her 11-year-old male student.
 Wendie A. Schweikert, 36, resigned Friday from her position as a fifth grade teacher at E.B. Morse Elementary School.
Schweikert was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor after the mother of the boy told police Thursday that the teacher had had sex with her son at school on at least two occasions
.
She had been employed with the school district for nine years. She has no previous arrests and no previous complaints against her have been filed. 2-26-06
