DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA---A Dauphin County sheriff's officer, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Local 89, has been suspended without pay after he was charged with stalking a neighbor by sending her nude pictures of himself and sitting naked on a picnic table behind the woman's residence.
Anthony Fritz, 31, a sheriff's deputy since 1997, faces charges of stalking, two counts of harassment and open lewdness for using a cell phone to send sexual messages to a female neighbor. He also allegedly sent her a picture of himself exposed.
Fritz's duties at the sheriff's department included providing courtroom security and serving civil papers. He is married and has known the neighbor who lives across from him for about five years.
According to the police complaint, the deputy began sending the woman sexually explicit cell phone messages in February and continued doing so for about four weeks. The woman said she ignored the calls, hoping they would stop but instead they intensified. 4-25-06
