DUNEDIN, FLA---A father who thought his 22-year-old son was spending too much time playing games on the computer is in the Pinellas County Jail, charged with attempted murder.
Police said that Joseph Langenderfer, 40, shot at the monitor of his son's computer with his son sitting nearby. His son, Tim, called 911 to report the incident which resulted in his father being arrested.
Langenderfer reportedly told deputies that he was mad that his son had not done the laundry and was spending too much time on the computer. He claims that the gun accidentally fired after he told his son he was going to shoot the computer. The bullet entered the wall about three feet from where the son was sitting. 4-25-06
