VENTURA, CA---Henry Nicolle of San Buenventura, a former Montanan, former Marine and a California citizen for the past 20 years, will announce his candidacy as Representative from California's 24th Congressional District to the House of Representatives in Congress at a formal press conference Friday.
California's 24th Congressional District consists of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, excluding the beach cities from Oxnard to Santa Maria.
". . . something is really, really wrong, but I can't exactly put my finger on what it is . . ." is a common constituent description of our current political and economic situation, Nicolle says.
"Our governing institutions have been corrupted, betraying the purposes for which they were created. My candidacy invokes the concepts of self-government proclaimed in our original foundation, the Declaration of Independence of 1776."
Condemning the modern American quasi-socialist, semi-fascist, "Do as you're told and don't argue with Authority!" governing quagmire, he suggests political surgery is necessary to restore liberty and self-determination and offers realistic alternatives to government mandates and "entitlements" which impose and enforce the government "Parent' of social dependence.
"We are not intended to be the property of a Nation and tools for government profits, policies and social engineering!" Nicolle emphatically asserts. "Our self-governing process is intended to assure the independence of each man and woman. Our future is supposed to depend upon our own free choices and ambition. The American Citizen is not a 'human capital asset' or a human resource' for the benefit and convenience of the government!".
"We have incredibly huge problems with government, from petty lawlessness to treason in the highest offices. It is foolish to allow the prevailing monkey-business to continue as usual. There are solutions to these problems and we can emerge more free and stronger than we have ever been. But we must act before the people in government completely deny our authority to make the necessary changes. If we wait, we will very soon fight our third War for liberty on our soil, with only ourselves to blame.", Nicolle warned.
"I do not believe that most of my fellow Americans fully understand that people in government have deliberately suppressed our liberty to decide and act in our own self-interest. I do understand that the people I talk with want truth, justice, peace and the opportunity to pursue their lives without the daily threats and continuous, meddling, greedy, demanding hands of people in government pressing upon their body and property at every opportunity. We're tired of looking over our shoulder. We are becoming a criminal society because our governing institutions and leaders have themselves become, in practice, criminals."
"But, we can fix it with a New Congress and firm resolve." Nicolle concludes.
