LANCASTER, WIS---The three men accused to trying to have sex with a corpse have had those charges dismissed because Wisconsin has no law against necrophilia.
However, they still face other charges filed in relation with the case involving damage to cemetery property and the alleged attempt to break into a burial vault.
Twins Alexander and Nicholas Grunke, 20, and Dustin Radke, 20, had been arrested earlier this month for digging up a grave with the intent to have sex with a 20-year-old woman who had been killed Aug. 27 in a motorcycle accident.
They didn't know the woman. They allegedly decided to dig up the body so they could have sex with the corpse after one of the men say a picture of the woman in a newspaper obituary.
Radke told police that the three had stopped at a Wal-Mart on the way to the cemetery to buy condoms. 9-17-06
