TIME magazine is part of the media muddle that misinformed and misled the public in making Terri Schiavo the poster child for the euthanasia movement! ("Milestones"--Person of the Year 2005) She died on March 31 being neither terminally ill or dying, of dehydration when her feeding tube was removed by court order......euthanasia by omission.....a grave moral wrong!
Terri was not in a persistent vegetative state as claimed. She was alert, able to swallow, follow commands, attempted to communicate and interacted with her family and caregivers. According to numerous doctors, neurologists, specialists and pathologists, was at least in minimally cognitive state and could have had a chance for recovery with care and treatment refused her by her estranged husband and Judge Greer.
Wake up America! You could be next! Today's "medical ethics" and utilitarianism is leading us in another wave of eugenics and dehumanization like unto Nazi Germany!
Life is sacred! God only is the Taker and Giver of life!
