HARRISBURG, PA---A high school French teacher is facing charges of assaulting a police officer with a plastic toy trumpet after he allegedly hit the officer over the head.
Police arrested Curtis Loften, 23, after finding him standing in the snow naked outside his home. Loften told police that he was Jesus Christ and that the officer must be God.
He was charged with aggravated assault involving a police officer, resisting arrest, open lewdness, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of oxycodone, a prescription drug. 12-30-05
