Ex-Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Teen Rape

VOORHEESVILLE---The former teaching assistant and coach of the freshman boys basketball team at Voorheesville Elementary School has pleaded not guilty to charges that he raped a 14-year-old ninth grade girl.

John T. Krajewski, 26, of Albany, was arrested last January and has been indicted by an Albany County Grand Jury on three felony counts of second degree rape and two counts of a second degree criminal act in addition to endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor.

He has been free on $25,000 bond since his arrest by State Police. He was fired by the school board after it was learned that he did not have the proper certification to be a teaching aide. 2-27-07
