State Police Union Endorses York For Sheriff

WARREN COUNTY---The union that represents State Police investigators statewide has endorsed former State Police investigator Bud York in his campaign for Warren County Sheriff.

The New York State Police Investigators Association cited York’s more than 30 years as a state trooper which included as a state trooper which included positions as investigator, senior investigator and serving with the Major Crimes Unit.

York is challenging Larry Cleveland who claims to be an incumbent although both state and county records indicate he has never legally qualified for the office.

York has already been endorsed by the Warren County Conservative Party. The Warren County Republican Party is expected to meet April 26. 4-18-07
